this is the obligatory first post in a new blog.
i have spent today running errands and reorganizing my ipod. adding new music. adding old music. taking the bevy of new pornographers songs off so its a more satisfying mix.
i am a pretty content woman when i am here. nightly, i am home with my boyfriend of over 2 years now and our 3 cats in our little, well-decorated apartment in hyde park. we do not have everything, but we want for nothing. there is a lot of love in this small space.
what do i hope to bring to the general public with my blog, you might ask, gentle reader. well, i am not entirely positive. stream of consciousness writings? musings? heated debates? music reviews? what i wore today? probably all of the above plus more.
i have been a writer without a project for too long. i turn 30 later this year, and i have yet to use my words for much. i hope this blog can grow from a bit of an indulgence on my part, to something others enjoy indulging in reading.
